Covid Safety Protocols Need to be Followed
With the rapid rise in Covid cases in the Algoma region we want to remind everyone of the importance of staying vigilant in the safety protocols we have in place so we can stay on the ice.

These include:
1) Reminding your child to wear their mask right up until they go on the ice (helmet can be the last thing to go on before they take the walk to the ice)
2) Social distancing in the dressing rooms and the stands (do not hang around the lobby talking with other families or arriving too early so the kids can play in the dressing rooms)
3) Completing the covid screening before you come (if you have even one symptom you are required to stay home), everyone has the screening as it is the same one you are required to do before you go to school each day
4) Avoid parents hanging around in the dressing rooms (U10 and up should be practicing getting dressed on their own and having a team rep help tie skates to avoid too many in the dressing room)
5) If you have been told you must isolate (due to hockey or other possible exposure), or you are waiting for a test result, DO NOT come to the arena!

We have had two teams have to isolate due to covid on the team and we want it to end at those 2. Please talk to your children before their next ice time and stress the importance of following these rules so they can keep playing hockey.
