U13HL Northside Volkswagen Sandstorm are Champions!
The U13HL Northside Volkswagen Sandstorm went 5-0-1 and brought home the gold at the Sudbury House League Classic held Feb. 21-25 in the Nickel City.
The Sandstorm rolled through the round robin going undefeated with 3 wins and a tie. A 3-2 semi final win against the Laurentian Chrysler Hellcats set the stage for an exciting final tilt with Sudbury Pro Portes.
In the Championship game the Northside Volkswagen team skated hard, earning a 5-3 win and the gold medal!
