REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PROVISION OF:
PRE-SEASON PRE-SKATES (ON-ICE PRACTICE)
The Soo Pee Wee Hockey League (SPWHL), in accordance with the Canadian Player Pathway; is seeking “Expressions of Interest” (EOI) for the for Instructors for our PRE-SEASON PRE-SKATES (ON-ICE PRACTICE) beginning September 2nd, 2025.
Background
We are seeking an enthusiastic coach (or group of coaches) to host pre-season on-ice skill sessions for our U7, U9, U11, U13, U15 and U18 age players.
The pre-season / pre-skate sessions are not mandatory for SPWHL players, but are an opportunity for them to get back on the ice before jumping into the evaluation phase of the season. The draft skills sessions are part of the draft process for all players U7 – U18.
The selected provider will run the required on-ice sessions meeting the requirements set out in this EOI.

Criteria
The tender will be awarded based on the following criteria:
1. Coaching experience
2. Recent Criminal Record Check
3. Experience running hockey clinics / camps
** Please note that the tender will be awarded at the sole discretion of the SPWHL.
Pay:
$100/HR for lead instructor
$50/HR 2 on ice helper's
