U13 OK Tire Selects Strike Gold in Barrie
The SPWHL U13 OK Tire Selects team made the most of their very first tournament appearance winning the Barrie HL Select Tournament!
Rolling through their round robin games, the Selects defeated the Barrie Colts (10-2), Caledonia Thunder (5-1) and Scarborough Ice Raiders (6-3). The Selects single round robin loss came at the hands of the Collingwood Blues (6-2).
Sunday's semis and finals were nail biters with both games going to OVERTIME!
With two 4-3 OT wins in the semi-finals (vs. Etobicoke Bulldogs) and in the championship (vs. Kiwanis Stars) our U13 OK Tire Selects worked extra hard to bring home the gold! CONGRATS!! Way to go!!
