Responsibilities

Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records.

Organize and maintain files, both physical and digital, for easy retrieval.

Assist in maintaining accurate financial and registration records.

Help manage the ice schedule and coordinate booking requests.

Provide support during tournaments, playoffs, and other league events.

Help maintain the membership database and ensure data confidentiality.

Answer inquiries from teams, members, and the public, or direct them as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator or Executive Board.
Requirements
-
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred. (sports or nonprofit background is a plus).

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Experience with clerical tasks such as filing, typing, and managing office equipment is necessary.

Ability to operate phone systems efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends during peak times.

Experience with Sage or similar finance programs.
